A heavy serif design with pronounced wedge-like serifs and flared stroke endings that create a carved, sculptural silhouette. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation, with rounded joins and occasional notch-like cut-ins at terminals that read as ink traps or stylized shearing. Counters are generous but tightly shaped by the weight, producing bold, compact interiors in letters like a, e, and g. The uppercase feels broad and monumental, while the lowercase retains sturdy proportions with distinctive, decorative terminals; numerals follow the same robust, high-impact construction.

Best suited to large-size applications where its wedge serifs and notched terminal details can be appreciated—such as headlines, poster titles, branding marks, and packaging. It can also work for short pull quotes or mastheads, but its dense weight and decorative terminals make it less ideal for long, continuous text.

The overall tone is assertive and showy, with a vintage display flavor that suggests theatrical headlines and classic poster typography. Its sharp wedges and deep curves give it a slightly dramatic, old-world confidence rather than a neutral editorial voice.

The font appears designed to deliver maximum impact with a classic serif framework, using flared wedge serifs, strong modulation, and stylized terminal cut-ins to create a distinctive, attention-grabbing display voice.

The design’s character comes from its combination of strong modulation and angular, flared serifs, which creates a rhythmic pattern of pointed terminals across words. At larger sizes the notched details and terminal shaping become a key feature; at smaller sizes these details may visually merge, emphasizing its role as a display face.
