This typeface shows pronounced thick–thin contrast with razor-fine hairlines and crisp, tapered serifs that often feel subtly flared rather than bracketed. Capitals are stately and wide-shouldered, with sharp apexes in A and V-like forms and smooth, rounded bowls in C, O, and Q; the Q features a long, sweeping tail. Lowercase forms keep a relatively conventional structure with a two-storey a, compact e, and a distinctive g with a generous lower loop, while ascenders and descenders are long and refined. Figures follow the same contrasty logic, with elegant curves in 2 and 3 and a sculpted, high-contrast 8 and 9.

Best suited to headlines, decks, and pull quotes where high contrast and fine serifs can shine. It would also work well for upscale brand identities, editorial mastheads, invitations, and book or magazine covers; for long passages, it will generally benefit from comfortable sizing and printing/display conditions that preserve the hairlines.

The overall tone is refined and high-end, combining classical bookish authority with a fashion-forward, display-like polish. Its sharp hairlines and sculpted curves create a dramatic, curated feel that reads as premium and formal rather than utilitarian.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern, high-contrast serif with classic proportions and a touch of calligraphic flourish, emphasizing elegance and visual drama for display-led typography.

In the text sample, the spacing and rhythm feel built for larger sizes, where the thin strokes remain visible and the delicate detailing can be appreciated. The ampersand and the uppercase Q tail add a distinctive, slightly flamboyant signature without breaking the otherwise traditional serif voice.
