A heavy slab-serif with broad proportions, large counters, and emphatic rectangular serifs. Strokes are thick and steady with gently rounded corners and subtle shaping where strokes meet serifs, giving a slightly softened, cast or stamped feel rather than a razor-sharp geometric one. The lowercase shows sturdy, compact forms (notably the single-storey a and g) with strong baseline anchoring, while capitals keep wide, squat silhouettes and blunt terminals. Spacing appears generous and the overall texture is dark and even, built for strong horizontal rhythm in headlines.

Best suited for display typography where impact and presence matter: posters, large headlines, storefront or wayfinding-style signage, and bold brand marks. It can also work well for packaging and labels where a strong, sturdy voice is desired, especially in short bursts of text.

The font conveys a rugged, workmanlike tone—confident and no-nonsense—with a hint of vintage signage and print ephemera. Its weight and slab structure read as authoritative and practical, lending an industrial or collegiate toughness that feels at home in bold, declarative messaging.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum visual punch while retaining a traditional slab-serif framework. Its softened joins and broad, stable forms prioritize a solid, dependable reading experience in attention-grabbing settings, echoing classic sign and print traditions without relying on fine detail.

Numerals are wide and sturdy with simplified construction that matches the letterforms, keeping a consistent, poster-oriented color. The serifs remain prominent across the set, and the overall drawing favors clarity at display sizes over delicate detail.
