A condensed, display-oriented blackletter with tall vertical stems and sharply tapered terminals. Strokes feel carved and slightly irregular, with subtle raggedness along edges that adds grit without becoming fully distressed. Counters are narrow and often slit-like, and the rhythm is strongly vertical, with occasional angular notches and spur-like joins that create a thorny silhouette. Capitals are particularly towering and narrow, while lowercase maintains a compact x-height with long, dagger-like descenders on letters such as g, j, p, and q. Numerals follow the same pointed, chiseled construction for a cohesive set.

Best suited to short, high-impact text such as horror film titles, Halloween and haunted-attraction promotions, game or tabletop branding, and dramatic poster headlines. It also works well for logo-like wordmarks where a gothic, threatening tone is desired, especially in large sizes where the tapered spikes and ragged edges can be appreciated.

The overall tone is eerie and theatrical, evoking occult posters, haunted signage, and medieval menace. Its spiky tapering and claustrophobic spacing produce a tense, sinister voice that reads as intentionally unsettling rather than decorative-neutral.

The design appears intended to merge traditional blackletter structure with exaggerated, blade-like terminals to create a distinctly sinister display face. Its condensed proportions and aggressive verticality prioritize atmosphere and impact for themed typography rather than everyday reading.

The texture is consistent across the alphabet, with slight glyph-to-glyph irregularities that suggest hand-cut or brush-and-knife construction. At smaller sizes the narrow counters and dense vertical rhythm can reduce clarity, while at larger sizes the sharp terminals and jagged details become a defining feature.
