A slanted, display-oriented serif with chunky slab-like terminals and a distinctive mid-stroke cut that creates a repeated “notched” band through many letters. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin behavior, with broad vertical masses contrasted by tapered joins and sharp interior carving. Counters are tight and shapes are compact, giving the alphabet a compressed, poster-ready rhythm; round letters (O, Q, 8, 9) lean into heavy outer silhouettes with small inner openings. The lowercase keeps a tall, prominent body with sturdy stems and animated entry/exit strokes, while numerals and capitals maintain a consistent, emphatic silhouette.

Best suited to display settings where its notched construction and strong contrast can be appreciated: posters, event promotions, album art, expressive branding, and short editorial headlines. It can also work for punchy labels or packaging, especially when set with generous size and spacing to keep the distinctive cuts readable.

The overall tone feels vintage and showy, like headline lettering from posters, packaging, or editorial spreads. The recurring cut-in band adds a mischievous, kinetic flavor—equal parts theatrical and graphic—making the face read as assertive and stylized rather than neutral.

This design appears intended as a bold, attention-grabbing display serif that merges slab-like sturdiness with high-contrast, italic energy. The repeated cut-in band reads as a deliberate signature device to differentiate the face and add motion and texture across words.

The midline cut motif is strong enough to function as a built-in texture, especially in longer words, where it produces a striped rhythm across lines. This feature boosts personality but can also introduce visual noise at smaller sizes or in dense paragraphs, where the notches may compete with counters and spacing.
