A high-contrast serif with tall proportions and a relatively tight overall footprint. Strokes show a pronounced thick–thin modulation with vertical stress, combining sturdy vertical stems with very fine hairlines. Serifs are small and crisp, often bracketed, and many terminals taper or subtly flare as they meet the ends of strokes, giving a cut, chiseled finish. Counters are compact and apertures tend toward the closed side, producing a dense, authoritative texture in text while keeping contours clean and controlled.

Best suited to display and large-size settings such as magazine headlines, editorial titling, posters, and premium branding where high contrast and fine details can be preserved. It can also work for short, carefully typeset passages (pull quotes, deck copy) when line length and reproduction quality are controlled.

The overall tone is polished and editorial, with a confident, slightly dramatic presence driven by the strong contrast and tall stance. It reads as formal and traditional, but with enough sharpness and flare at the endings to feel contemporary and fashion-forward rather than purely bookish.

The design appears intended to deliver a refined, high-fashion editorial serif voice—tall, crisp, and contrasty—while using tapered and subtly flared endings to add distinctive character and a sculpted finish.

In the sample text, the tight rhythm and pronounced contrast create a striking headline color; at smaller sizes the hairlines and fine joints may demand generous rendering conditions. The numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, and the lowercase includes a two-storey “a” and “g,” supporting a classic typographic voice.
