A heavy, monoline serif design with strongly irregular, ragged contours that mimic worn type or uneven inking. Stems and serifs read as slab-like but softened by blobby edges, with frequent notches and bite-outs that vary from glyph to glyph. Counters are partly choked in places, and terminals often appear rounded or smudged, giving the alphabet a distressed, stamped impression. Spacing and widths feel slightly uneven, reinforcing an organic, printed-from-imperfect-machinery rhythm in text.

This face works best for short, high-impact settings where texture is an asset—posters, title cards, packaging callouts, and album or event graphics. It can also add character to quotes or pull lines, especially when paired with a cleaner companion for longer reading.

The overall tone is gritty and analog, evoking old receipts, battered typewritten pages, or rubber-stamped labeling. Its rough texture adds a sense of age, friction, and DIY immediacy, making set text feel intentionally imperfect and tactile.

The design appears intended to simulate rough, timeworn printing—like typewriter or letterpress output that has picked up ink spread, paper texture, and mechanical inconsistency. Its goal is to deliver immediate atmosphere and authenticity rather than pristine, modern regularity.

Uppercase forms are sturdy and attention-grabbing, while lowercase maintains the same eroded texture and compact counters, so paragraphs quickly acquire a dark, mottled color. Numerals share the same worn edge behavior, keeping headlines and short codes visually consistent. The distressed details are prominent enough that very small sizes may lose interior clarity, especially in tighter counters.
