This typeface is a high-contrast serif with sharp, tapered terminals and subtly flared stroke endings that give the serifs a sculpted, calligraphic feel. Curves are smooth and slightly dynamic, with a clear modulation between thick stems and hairline connections. Capitals are proportionally balanced and open, while the lowercase shows crisp detailing in joins and terminals, including a single-storey a and a double-storey g. Numerals follow the same contrast-driven logic, with elegant curves and fine hairlines that read best at moderate to large sizes.

Well suited to magazine typography, book and journal covers, and brand identities that want a contemporary-classic serif voice. It performs especially well in headlines, display settings, and pull quotes where its contrast and terminal detailing can be appreciated.

The overall tone is polished and editorial, combining classical serif authority with a slightly dramatic, fashion-forward edge. Its sharp hairlines and flared finishing strokes suggest refinement and luxury rather than utilitarian neutrality.

The design appears intended to deliver an elegant serif with pronounced stroke modulation and distinctive flared endings—aiming for a premium, editorial look that stands out in display use while retaining recognizable, traditional letterforms.

In the sample text, the spacing and rhythm feel even, with strong vertical emphasis and clear word shapes. The thins are noticeably delicate, so the texture becomes more refined and airy as size increases; at smaller sizes the hairlines may visually recede in low-resolution or low-contrast situations.
