A very heavy serif with flared, subtly bracketed terminals that broaden into wedge-like endings rather than staying strictly slabby. The strokes are low-contrast and strongly filled-in, producing compact counters and a solid, poster-like color. Curves are generously rounded, while joins and terminals show slight angularity that adds snap to the silhouettes. Proportions feel moderately wide with a sturdy, even rhythm; the lowercase maintains clear, straightforward forms with a single-storey “a” and a compact, utilitarian “g,” and numerals are broad and weighty with simple, legible shapes.

Well suited to headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and short blocks of text where a bold, traditional voice is needed. It can work effectively for branding, packaging, and signage that benefits from a sturdy, slightly vintage serif presence, and for editorial layouts that want strong typographic emphasis.

The overall tone is confident and hearty, leaning toward vintage editorial and packaging aesthetics. Its dense weight and flared serifs give it a friendly traditionalism—less delicate or academic, more workmanlike and attention-grabbing.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a traditional serif framework, using flared terminals and bracketed endings to create a distinctive silhouette at large sizes while keeping letterforms straightforward and readable.

At text sizes the strong weight compresses interior space, so the face reads best with comfortable tracking and generous line spacing. In display settings, the distinctive flare at terminals becomes a key signature, adding character without relying on extreme contrast or high ornament.
