A jagged, hand-drawn italic with narrow proportions and a restless, uneven rhythm. Strokes taper sharply and break into serrated edges, producing a torn-ink silhouette with frequent angular nicks and spur-like terminals. Counters are often tight and irregular, and curves are expressed as faceted, chiseled arcs rather than smooth rounds. The overall texture is high-energy and rough, with intentionally inconsistent contouring that reads like distressed brush or scratched pen work.

Best suited for short, high-impact display typography such as horror posters, Halloween promotions, thriller or paranormal game titles, album/track artwork, and event branding where atmosphere matters more than smooth readability. It works especially well for headlines, logotypes, and pull quotes at medium-to-large sizes where the distressed contours can be appreciated.

The letterforms project a threatening, supernatural tone—like carved warnings, cursed manuscript headings, or slashed horror titling. Its spiky motion and distressed edges create tension and urgency, lending an eerie, unclean atmosphere even at larger sizes.

This design appears intended to evoke a scratched, haunted calligraphic voice—combining italic momentum with distressed, blade-like terminals to create a deliberately unsettling texture. The goal is expressive, cinematic display impact rather than neutral text setting.

In the sample text, the rough perimeter and pointed joins create strong black shapes that can visually merge in dense settings, especially where narrow counters and sharp diagonals cluster. Numerals and capitals share the same aggressive tapering and chipped edges, giving a cohesive, poster-like presence.
