A condensed, very heavy display serif with sharply chamfered corners and faceted, almost octagonal curves. Strokes stay largely even in thickness, while the internal shapes are tightly controlled, producing narrow counters and strong vertical emphasis. Serifs are short and wedge-like, often expressed as clipped terminals rather than long brackets, giving many letters a carved, sign-painter feel. The lowercase is similarly compact and upright, with sturdy stems, squared shoulders, and a single-storey a; numerals follow the same blocky, cut-corner construction for a cohesive texture.

Best suited to high-impact headlines, posters, storefront or wayfinding-style signage, and bold logo wordmarks. It can also work well on packaging or labels where a vintage, rugged tone is desired, especially when set with generous tracking and ample size.

The overall tone is bold and declarative, evoking vintage signage and frontier or industrial-era display lettering. Its hard corners and condensed rhythm read as assertive and utilitarian, with a classic, old-world flavor rather than a soft or friendly voice.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum presence in a condensed footprint, using chiseled terminals and wedge serifs to create a distinctive, heritage display voice. Its consistent, carved geometry prioritizes recognizability and attitude in short text settings.

Tight apertures and compact counters make the face most comfortable at larger sizes, where the distinctive chamfers and serif cuts remain clearly legible. The sample text shows a dense, punchy color on the line that emphasizes impact over airy readability.
