A sharply constructed blackletter with very tall, narrow proportions and a disciplined vertical rhythm. Strokes are broken into faceted segments with pointed terminals and wedge-like joins, creating a crisp, chiseled texture. Contrast is pronounced between thick stems and hairline-like connecting cuts, and counters are tight and angular, producing a dense, patterned color in text. Capitals are narrow and towering, with minimal rounding and frequent internal splits that emphasize the fractured, gothic structure.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, mastheads, packaging accents, album or event titling, and logo marks where its intricate, fractured structure can be appreciated. It is less comfortable for long passages at small sizes, but highly effective for short, high-impact phrases.

The face communicates a stern, ceremonial tone—historic and authoritative with a slightly ominous edge. Its pointed geometry and compressed cadence evoke inscriptions, proclamations, and old-world formality rather than casual reading.
