A sturdy slab-serif with heavy, square serifs and a largely even stroke weight that reads as monoline at text sizes. The letterforms are built from broad, compact shapes with firm verticals, open counters, and flat, decisive terminals. Serifs are thick and mostly unbracketed, creating a strong baseline and a crisp, rectangular rhythm. Curves (C, O, S) are full and smooth but kept tight, while joins and corners stay blunt and geometric.

Best suited to display sizes where its thick slabs and compact, blocky construction can project strength—headlines, posters, and impactful editorial typography. It also works well for packaging and signage that benefits from a sturdy, traditional voice and strong contrast against light backgrounds.

The overall tone is confident and no-nonsense, blending traditional serif authority with a practical, workmanlike solidity. It feels familiar and institutional, with an editorial heft that can also lean toward collegiate or vintage signage depending on setting and spacing.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum presence and clarity through firm slab serifs and simplified, square-ended detailing, creating a dependable serif option for attention-grabbing titles and short-form copy.

In the sample text, the dense serifs and dark color create a commanding texture and clear word shapes, especially in headlines. Numerals appear robust and evenly weighted, matching the caps in presence and maintaining the same squared-off finishing throughout.
