A high-contrast serif display face with stout vertical stems, hairline connecting strokes, and crisp bracketed serifs. The capitals are built on a classic Roman skeleton but are overlaid with large, looping swash strokes that wrap around and intersect the main letterforms, creating a layered, monogram-like silhouette. Counters tend toward narrow ovals, and spacing feels intentionally irregular in the uppercase due to the decorative overlays, while the lowercase and numerals read more conventionally with sturdy, bookish forms and clear serifs. Overall rhythm alternates between dense black stems and airy hairlines, producing a sharp, engraved look with pronounced stroke modulation.

Best suited for large sizes where the hairlines and looping swashes can be appreciated—titles, mastheads, packaging marks, event and wedding collateral, and editorial cover lines. It can work for short passages when set with generous leading and careful capitalization, but it is most effective as a decorative accent in headings or pull quotes.

The font projects a formal, theatrical character—equal parts classic and flamboyant. The dramatic swashes and sharp contrast evoke vintage titling, ceremonial signage, and a slightly gothic-romantic sensibility, while the more restrained lowercase keeps it from feeling purely ornamental.

The design appears intended to fuse a traditional, high-contrast serif foundation with expressive swash overlays for instant display impact. It prioritizes ornament and distinctive silhouettes—especially in capitals—while keeping the lowercase and figures serviceable for supporting text.

Uppercase ornamentation is dominant and can create tight joins and overlaps in continuous text, especially around rounded letters and diagonals; it reads best when given room to breathe. The sample text shows a strong hierarchy contrast between the decorative caps and the comparatively straightforward lowercase, making capitalization choices a key part of the visual outcome.
