A heavy slab serif with broad, rectangular proportions and pronounced, block-like serifs. Strokes are thick with modest contrast, and many joins show subtle bracketing that softens the otherwise squared-off construction. Counters are relatively tight, terminals tend to be blunt, and the overall rhythm is dense and emphatic, giving lines of text a strong, dark typographic color. The lowercase has sturdy, straightforward forms with a single-storey “g” and robust dots, while numerals are wide and weighty for strong presence.

Best suited to display applications where weight and presence are an asset: posters, headlines, branding wordmarks, labels, and high-impact signage. It can work for short blocks of text or subheads when set with generous size and spacing, but its dark color makes it less ideal for long-form reading at small sizes.

The tone is bold and workmanlike, evoking utilitarian signage, printed ephemera, and old-school display typography. It reads as confident and slightly nostalgic, with a rugged, no-nonsense attitude that prioritizes impact over delicacy.

This font appears designed to deliver maximum visual authority through chunky slabs, broad proportions, and a sturdy, print-forward texture. The goal seems to be a versatile display slab that feels traditional and dependable while remaining bold enough for attention-grabbing modern uses.

The design’s heavy horizontals and slab endings create a strong baseline and capline, which helps headlines feel grounded. In dense paragraphs, the tight counters and thick joins can produce a compact texture, so spacing and size become important for clarity.
