A jagged, hand-rendered display face with narrow proportions and irregular stroke edges that mimic dry-brush or rough ink. Strokes taper sharply into thorn-like terminals, with occasional blobby joins and distressed gaps that create a broken, scratchy silhouette. Counters are small and sometimes partially closed, and the overall rhythm is uneven in a deliberate way, giving letters a nervy, unstable texture across words. Numerals follow the same tapered, distressed construction, maintaining the rough, organic feel.

Works best for short headlines and title treatments where the spiky, distressed construction can be appreciated—such as horror posters, Halloween promotions, dark-fantasy game titles, book covers, or album art. It can also add atmosphere to pull quotes, chapter openers, and themed packaging, especially when paired with a simpler text face for body copy.

The letterforms project an ominous, supernatural tone—more haunted parchment than polished typography. Its spines, splinters, and smeared edges read as sinister and theatrical, suited to horror and dark-fantasy atmospheres without feeling cartoonish.

The design appears intended to simulate hand-drawn, distressed lettering with sharp, thorny terminals and uneven ink coverage to create an unsettling, supernatural mood. Its proportions and aggressive texture prioritize character and atmosphere over neutrality, aiming for immediate thematic impact in display settings.

The font’s texture becomes more pronounced at larger sizes, where the rough edges and tapering terminals read as intentional detailing; at smaller sizes, those distressed features may visually merge and reduce clarity. Capitals carry a stronger dramatic presence, while the lowercase keeps a wiry, unsettling cadence with notably short interior space.
