A slanted, calligraphic display face with sharply tapered strokes and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Letterforms are narrow and upright-leaning, with long ascenders/descenders and a low x-height that emphasizes the capitals and overall verticality. Terminals frequently end in needle-like points or rough, broken edges, creating an irregular, hand-inked texture; curves and joins feel slightly jittered rather than mechanically smooth. Spacing appears somewhat uneven in a natural way, reinforcing the drawn, expressive rhythm in both the alphabet grid and the text sample.

Best suited to short display settings where its spiky texture and dramatic stroke contrast can be appreciated—titles, posters, cover art, and themed packaging. It works particularly well for horror, supernatural, and gothic narratives, and for branding moments that want a hand-rendered, ritualistic feel. Use at larger sizes to preserve the distressed details and keep letterspacing comfortable.

The tone reads uncanny and theatrical, like hurried quill lettering for a dark invitation or a gothic spellbook. Its spiky tapers and distressed edges give it a menacing, suspenseful energy while still retaining an old-world, ink-on-paper elegance. The overall impression is ritualistic and story-driven rather than clean or modern.

This design appears intended to mimic expressive pen or quill lettering with deliberate roughness and sharp, elongated terminals, prioritizing atmosphere over neutrality. The narrow proportions and low x-height amplify a vintage, arcane presence, while the irregular edges add tension and a slightly haunted, hand-made finish.

Capitals carry much of the personality with tall, blade-like stems and tight counters, while lowercase remains delicate and airy, increasing the contrast between headline emphasis and softer internal word shapes. Numerals follow the same narrow, tapered logic and look best when treated as part of the same expressive display system rather than for utilitarian data-setting.
