A heavy, display-oriented face with a blackletter-inspired skeleton and strongly irregular contours. Strokes show pronounced thinning and swelling with torn, chipped edges and occasional interior voids, evoking worn ink or damaged type. Uppercase forms feel compact and vertical with pointed terminals, while lowercase mixes sturdy stems with angular joins and slightly uneven widths. Counters are often partially closed or scarred, and numerals carry the same distressed texture, producing a deliberately imperfect, printed-worn rhythm.

Well-suited to headlines and short bursts of text where texture is an asset: horror and fantasy titling, event posters, game or film graphics, album art, themed packaging, and identity work that needs a rough medieval/occult flavor. It can also work for badges, labels, and signage-style applications when set at larger sizes with generous tracking.

The overall tone is ominous and theatrical, combining medieval/old-world cues with a gritty, modern roughness. It reads as dramatic and confrontational, like lettering pulled from a distressed poster, horror title card, or weathered signage.

The design appears intended to merge a traditional, blackletter-leaning structure with aggressive distressing, creating instant atmosphere and a tactile, worn-ink presence. Its purpose is less about neutrality and more about delivering character and grit on contact.

Because the distressing creates broken edges and busy interiors, legibility can soften at smaller sizes and in dense paragraphs; it performs best when given breathing room. The texture is consistent across the character set, so words form a cohesive, noisy silhouette rather than clean typographic color.
