A tightly condensed, decorative display face built from narrow vertical strokes and sharply tapered terminals. Stems are mostly straight and upright, with small blade-like flares and hooky, pointed serifs that create a spiky silhouette. Curves are restrained and often pinched into angular joins, giving bowls and shoulders a carved, slightly irregular texture. Counters tend to be small and tall, and the overall rhythm reads as a sequence of verticals punctuated by occasional dagger-like spurs.

Best suited for display typography such as posters, headlines, book or game titles, and thematic packaging where a spooky or theatrical mood is desired. It can work well for short phrases, logos, and event branding, especially when set with generous tracking and ample size for the details to read clearly.

The tone is darkly playful—evoking gothic signage and horror or fantasy titling, but with a quirky, wacky edge rather than strict historical blackletter. Its pointed details and narrow proportions create tension and drama, while the idiosyncratic forms keep it eccentric and characterful.

The design appears intended to deliver a one-off, attention-grabbing personality by combining condensed proportions with sharp, ornamental terminals and slightly irregular, carved-looking joins. It prioritizes atmosphere and distinctive texture over neutral readability, aiming for expressive impact in titling contexts.

The sharp terminals and narrow apertures make the font most comfortable at larger sizes; at smaller sizes, the interior spaces and fine notches may close up visually. Numerals and lowercase carry the same blade-and-hook motif, reinforcing a consistent, stylized voice across the set.
