A serif display face with open, calligraphic construction and a consistent inline cut that runs through most strokes, creating a carved, hollowed appearance without losing overall stroke mass. The letterforms balance rounded bowls with crisp joins and wedge-like serifs, producing a steady, classical rhythm. Uppercase proportions feel stately and slightly narrow, while the lowercase shows a traditional two-storey a and g, compact apertures, and a moderate x-height that keeps the silhouette elegant. Numerals are similarly stylized with the same internal linework, giving them a decorative, engraved character.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, pull quotes, book or album covers, event programs, invitations, and premium packaging. It can also work for short editorial passages when set large with comfortable tracking and leading so the inline detail doesn’t fill in visually.

The inline detailing and classical serif skeleton evoke an engraved, old-world tone—formal, cultured, and slightly theatrical. It reads as literary and ceremonial, with a boutique sensibility that suggests invitations, editorial display, and heritage branding rather than utilitarian UI text.

The design appears intended to translate a traditional serif model into a more ornamental, engraved look by introducing a consistent internal inline. The goal is a distinctive, upscale display voice that feels classic and crafted while remaining readable in larger text sizes.

The inline channels add visual sparkle and a sense of depth, but they also increase texture complexity, which can make dense paragraphs feel busy at smaller sizes. In the sample text, the face holds together best where generous sizing and spacing allow the internal cuts and sharp serifs to remain distinct.
