A lightly built serif face with slab-like, bracketed serifs and mostly even stroke weight. The outlines are intentionally irregular, with slightly wobbly curves and subtly rough edges that suggest ink spread or worn impressions. Terminals often finish in small rounded blobs, and joins show mild unevenness that gives the glyphs a handmade, distressed texture while keeping clear letterforms. Overall proportions feel traditional and readable, with moderate spacing and a steady, upright rhythm across mixed case and numerals.

Well-suited for editorial headlines and display text where a vintage, printed feel is desired, such as book covers, posters, and cultural/event materials. It can also work for branding and packaging that benefits from an artisanal or heritage tone, and for short text passages where a textured, typewritten voice adds atmosphere.

The font conveys a typewriter-meets-handmade character: informal, tactile, and a bit weathered. Its imperfect contours and ink-like terminals create a nostalgic, archival tone that feels literary and human rather than polished or corporate.

The design appears intended to blend classic slab-serif structure with a deliberately imperfect, inked texture—capturing the look of aged print, typewriter output, or hand-set lettering while retaining dependable readability in mixed-case text.

In text, the roughened contouring remains consistent across letters and punctuation, producing a cohesive ‘printed’ patina rather than random grunge. The slabby serifs and rounded ink traps help maintain legibility at reading sizes while still communicating the distressed aesthetic.
