A condensed serif with extreme thick–thin contrast and a strongly vertical, poster-like stance. Strokes snap from hairline connections to heavy vertical stems, and terminals often resolve into pointed, flared wedge serifs rather than flat brackets. The forms feel sculpted and slightly idiosyncratic, with narrow counters and tight apertures that heighten the compressed rhythm. Uppercase and numerals carry a tall, columnar silhouette, while the lowercase maintains compact proportions with crisp joins and lively, tapered details.

Best suited to headlines, posters, title treatments, and short display copy where its condensed build and sharp contrast can command attention. It can also work for packaging or branding accents that want a vintage, theatrical edge, but it’s less appropriate for long passages or small-size UI text.

The font projects a dramatic, vintage tone—part editorial headline, part show-card theatrics. Its sharp hairlines and flared endings add a sense of intensity and ceremony, reading as confident and attention-seeking rather than quiet or utilitarian.

The design appears intended as a high-impact display serif that maximizes presence within a tight width, using flared wedges and extreme contrast to deliver a stylized, classic-yet-unusual silhouette.

At larger sizes the hairlines and spurs become key visual features, creating a shimmering texture across lines of text. Because the design relies on fine transitions and narrow internal space, it tends to look best when given room to breathe (generous tracking and line spacing) and when used where the condensed verticality is an asset.
