A high-contrast, upright display serif with a distinctly calligraphic skeleton. Strokes transition sharply from thick verticals to hairline curves, and many letters end in flared, teardrop, or ball-like terminals that mimic a broad-pen finish. Serifs are soft and bracketed rather than crisp slabs, and curves are generous, giving the design a rhythmic, slightly theatrical texture. Uppercase forms feel tall and sculpted, while lowercase shows lively entry/exit strokes and occasional swash-like tails (notably in letters such as g, j, y), creating a variable, handwritten cadence within an otherwise consistent serif framework.

This typeface suits invitations, certificates, and other formal stationery where elegance is the priority. It also works well for editorial headlines, chapter openers, and brand marks that want a crafted, classical voice. For longer passages, it is likely most comfortable in short blocks or pull quotes where the contrast and detailing can be appreciated.

The font conveys refinement and ceremony, with an old-world, bookish charm. Its ink-like contrast and ornamental terminals suggest tradition and craft, producing a tone that feels poised, romantic, and slightly dramatic rather than utilitarian.

The letterforms appear designed to merge traditional serif structure with hand-drawn calligraphic mannerisms—using contrast, flared terminals, and decorative tails to evoke pen-made lettering while maintaining readable, upright forms.

The design reads best when given room: the prominent contrast, rounded terminals, and expressive descenders become more apparent at larger sizes. Numerals follow the same calligraphic logic, mixing strong verticals with delicate hairlines for a cohesive set.
