A high-contrast serif with crisp hairline serifs and pronounced thick–thin transitions. Stems are vertical and steady, while joins and terminals show a subtle calligraphic influence, with bracketed connections and tapered finishing strokes. The proportions feel traditional and balanced, with moderate apertures and a clear, disciplined rhythm in text. Uppercase forms are stately and open, and the lowercase combines readable, bookish shapes with occasional sharper terminals that add sparkle at display sizes.

Well suited to magazine typography, book jackets, and refined branding where a classic serif voice is desired. It performs especially well for headlines, pull quotes, and short to medium passages where the contrast and fine serifs can remain crisp, and can also support elegant body copy in comfortable reading sizes and good printing or screen conditions.

The overall tone is polished and literary, projecting a sense of tradition and taste. Its sharp contrasts and fine detailing lend it a premium, formal voice suited to cultured, editorial settings rather than utilitarian signage.

Designed to provide a conventional, literary serif foundation with elevated contrast and finely drawn details. The intention appears to balance traditional text readability with a more luxurious, fashion-forward edge for editorial and brand-facing applications.

Numerals and capitals carry a dignified, engraved-like poise, while the lowercase maintains a consistent baseline and smooth text color despite the delicate hairlines. The ampersand and curved letters show lively stroke modulation, adding sophistication without becoming overtly decorative.
