This serif typeface shows gently bracketed serifs and subtly flared stroke endings that give the letterforms a softly tapered, calligraphic finish. Proportions are balanced with moderate x-height, generous interior counters, and clear differentiation between thick and thin strokes. Curves are smoothly modeled (notably in C, G, O, and S), while joins and terminals stay crisp, creating an even rhythm in text. The lowercase includes traditional two-storey forms (a, g) and a compact, slightly angled stress that reads comfortably at paragraph sizes. Numerals appear oldstyle in proportion, with varied heights and more bookish cadence than strictly lining figures.

Well-suited for long-form reading such as books, essays, and editorial layouts where a traditional serif texture is desired. It can also serve effectively for headings, pull quotes, and institutional or cultural branding that benefits from a classic, trustworthy tone.

The overall tone is classical and bookish, with a composed, editorial voice. Subtle flare and restrained contrast add warmth and tradition without feeling overly ornate, supporting an impression of authority and quiet sophistication.

The design appears intended to provide a readable, traditional serif for continuous text, enriched by flared terminals to add character and warmth while preserving a disciplined, editorial rhythm.

Uppercase forms feel stately with controlled widths and clear, triangular-like apexes on A and V/W shapes, while diagonals remain clean and stable. The italic is not shown; the roman maintains a consistent, text-forward color with modest sparkle from tapered terminals and small serifs.
