A heavy, angular display face built from sharp wedges and chiseled strokes, with frequent horn-like terminals and irregular, cutout counters. Edges feel jagged and hand-carved rather than mechanically smooth, creating a lively, uneven rhythm across words. Serifs and stroke ends flare into points, and many forms show deliberate asymmetry and quirky interior notches that read like bite marks. Uppercase letters are tall and dramatic, while lowercase keeps the same spiky DNA with compact bowls and narrow joins; numerals echo the same faceted, carved silhouette.

Best suited to short, attention-grabbing text such as posters, title cards, game and tabletop RPG branding, Halloween or horror-themed materials, and punchy packaging. It can work for short quotes or pull lines where a rough, carved display voice is desired, but will be most effective when given room to breathe and set above body-text sizes.

The tone is mischievous and slightly ominous—part haunted-house poster, part fantasy tavern sign. Its eccentric cuts and pointed terminals project a wacky, theatrical energy that feels loud, cheeky, and a bit monstrous.

The design appears intended to mimic a hand-cut, carved or woodblock-like look with exaggerated spikes and irregular interior cuts, prioritizing personality and theatrical impact over neutrality. It aims to deliver a distinctive, one-off display voice that instantly signals playful menace and fantasy/horror stylization.

Legibility is strongest at larger sizes where the interior notches and sharp terminals can read as texture rather than noise. The overall texture is dense and high-impact, with animated outlines that create a lively, “gnarled” color in paragraphs and especially in headlines.
