This serif features gently tapered strokes with subtly flared, bracketed serifs and an organic, calligraphy-informed rhythm. Curves are smooth and slightly open, with moderate modulation that stays controlled rather than dramatic. Capitals are relatively tall and slender with crisp terminals, while the lowercase shows compact proportions and a noticeably small x-height, giving the text a more traditional, vertical feel. Details like the single-storey a and g, teardrop-like terminals, and the long, elegant descenders (notably on j and y) reinforce a delicate, crafted construction.

It works best for display and short-to-medium text where its slender structure and delicate serifs can stay crisp—such as book covers, chapter titles, magazine headings, cultural branding, and invitations. In longer passages, it will benefit from generous size and leading to preserve clarity.

The overall tone reads classical and literary, with a quiet elegance that feels suited to historical, poetic, or editorial contexts. Its narrow, refined forms convey formality without becoming severe, and the soft tapering adds a humanist warmth.

The design appears intended to evoke a traditional serif voice with a handcrafted edge: classic proportions, restrained contrast, and ornamental terminals that add personality without turning into a novelty. It aims to balance readability with a distinctly styled, literary presence.

The font keeps a consistent, slightly sharpened edge in joins and terminals, producing a clean, etched look at display sizes. Numerals are slim and stylized, with distinctive curves (especially 2, 3, and 9) that match the type’s calligraphic flavor and make them feel more decorative than strictly utilitarian.
