A rough, hand-rendered display face with heavy, uneven strokes and pronounced tapering that creates sharp points and thorn-like terminals. Letterforms are slightly irregular in width and silhouette, with wobbly curves, pinched joins, and intermittent bulges that mimic saturated ink or a dry-brush edge. Counters tend to be small and organic (notably in O, P, R, 8, 9), and verticals often narrow toward the ends, producing a cut, clawed texture across words. Spacing reads moderately open for a distressed style, but the jagged outlines and variable stroke swell keep the rhythm intentionally unsettled.

Best suited to short text where texture is an asset: titles, headers, logotypes, and key art for horror, thriller, and dark-fantasy projects. It can also work for event promotions and packaging where a hand-made, ominous feel is desired, but the distressed edges make it less ideal for long-form reading at small sizes.

The font projects a haunted, unsettling tone—more like hand-painted warnings or carved markings than refined typography. Its spines and tapered strokes evoke claws, thorns, and ritual signage, giving it a tense, foreboding energy that feels at home in horror and dark-fantasy contexts.

The design appears intended to deliver an immediately recognizable, fear-tinged voice through hand-drawn irregularity and sharply tapered terminals. By prioritizing silhouette drama and a scratchy ink texture over smooth consistency, it aims to create atmosphere quickly in display settings.

Uppercase forms feel more monumental and poster-ready, while the lowercase retains the same scratchy voice with simplified structures and occasional exaggerated ascenders/descenders. Numerals match the texture well, with especially expressive 4, 7, and 9, helping the set stay cohesive for titling and themed numbering.
