A tightly set, high-contrast serif with strong vertical stress and sharply tapered hairlines. Stems swell into flared, wedge-like terminals and bracketed serifs, creating a carved, chiseled feel at joins and endings. Proportions are condensed with tall lowercase and a comparatively small set width, while counters stay fairly open to preserve clarity at display sizes. The overall rhythm is crisp and vertical, with pronounced thick–thin transitions and pointed details in diagonals and terminals.

Best suited to display roles where contrast and sharp detailing can be appreciated—magazine headlines, fashion and cultural editorial, poster titles, and brand marks. It can also work for short pull quotes or deck text when given comfortable leading and not set too small.

The font reads as assertive and stylish, combining a classical editorial tone with a slightly theatrical edge. Its sharp flare and high contrast give it a couture, headline-forward presence that feels premium and attention-seeking rather than neutral or utilitarian.

The design appears intended to deliver a condensed, high-impact serif for contemporary editorial and branding, using flared terminals and extreme contrast to produce a distinctive, upscale voice while retaining legibility in larger text settings.

Uppercase forms present strong, column-like silhouettes, while the lowercase maintains a lively texture through pronounced terminals and tight spacing. Numerals follow the same sculpted contrast and flare, keeping the set visually consistent for headlines that mix type and figures.
