A high-contrast display face built from heavy vertical masses and hairline connections, with crisp, geometric curves. Many glyphs feature a narrow inline cut that splits or carves through the thick strokes, creating a sharp black–white rhythm and a slightly stencil-like construction. Rounds tend toward near-circular forms (notably in C, O, and Q), while diagonals (V, W, X, Y) are steep and emphatic with occasional striped segmentation. Terminals are clean and largely unbracketed, and the overall spacing and proportions favor strong silhouettes over continuous text color.

Best suited to headlines and short phrases where the inline cuts and contrast can be appreciated—posters, event titles, brand marks, packaging accents, and signage. It also works well for numbers in display contexts (pricing, dates, and chapter numerals) when set large with generous tracking.

The font projects a polished, vintage-luxe mood with a distinctly theatrical edge. Its sliced-in details and dramatic contrast read as fashion-forward and nightlife-adjacent, evoking classic marquee and Art Deco-era signage while still feeling graphic and modern in black-and-white.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact through bold silhouettes enhanced by refined, carved-in detailing. It prioritizes a decorative, era-referential look that stands out in monochrome reproduction and adds a sense of craft and glamour to display typography.

The inline carving varies by letter, sometimes reading as a central slit and other times as parallel striping, which adds sparkle and motion at larger sizes. In the sample text, the strong vertical emphasis and frequent cut-ins create a lively texture; at smaller sizes, the fine internal lines may visually close up compared to the main strokes.
