A high-contrast serif with strongly sculpted, bracketed wedge serifs and an energetic, calligraphic modulation. Strokes alternate between very thick verticals and hairline joins, with pointed terminals and sharp interior notches that give counters a chiseled feel. The design is relatively broad in footprint, with sturdy capitals, compact joins, and a slightly lively baseline rhythm (notably in the lowercases and figures). Numerals are weighty and curvaceous, with pronounced thick–thin shifts and distinctive wedge terminals that match the text letters.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and other display typography where its sharp contrast and sculpted serifs can read clearly. It also works well for magazine layouts, book-cover titling, and branding or packaging that wants a classic-but-dramatic voice. For dense body copy, it will be most comfortable at larger sizes where the fine hairlines and tight joins remain visible.

The overall tone is theatrical and editorial: confident, attention-grabbing, and slightly baroque in its detailing. It suggests heritage and authority while still feeling expressive and stylized, making text look deliberate and curated rather than neutral.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif structure with heightened contrast and expressive carving, creating a classic editorial look with extra drama and personality. Its consistent serif language across capitals, lowercase, and figures suggests a focus on cohesive display setting and impactful text color.

The heavy serifs and hairline connections create strong sparkle and texture in longer passages, especially at display sizes. Several shapes show deep ink-cut-like apertures and tight internal joins, which contribute to a crisp, engraved impression and a distinctive rhythm across words.
