A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharply tapered, bracketed serifs that give strokes a sculpted, calligraphic finish. Curves are full and weighty, with a lively diagonal stress and generous, rounded bowls that keep counters open at larger sizes. Terminals often end in pointed or teardrop-like shapes, and junctions show crisp transitions that heighten the contrast. Numerals follow the same energetic, angled rhythm, with strong silhouettes and compact internal spaces.

This face suits editorial headlines, magazine decks, pull quotes, and cultural or fashion-oriented layouts where a classic serif voice with extra momentum is desirable. It can also work for book-cover titling and poster typography, especially when you want strong contrast and an elegant, slightly dramatic presence.

The overall tone is traditional and literary, but with an energetic, theatrical lean that feels confident and slightly flamboyant. Its high-contrast sparkle and brisk slant suggest fashion, culture, and headline-driven publishing rather than quiet neutrality.

The design appears intended to modernize a conventional text-serif foundation with a pronounced italic posture and showier contrast, delivering an expressive, high-impact serif for display-led typography while retaining recognizable, traditional letterforms.

In text settings the slant and contrast create a strong horizontal flow, with prominent capitals that read as emphatic and ceremonial. The combination of sharp serifs and swelling curves produces a distinctive “inked” texture that stands out most in short lines and prominent sizes.
