This typeface features a broken-stroke construction with compact proportions, sharp angles, and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Stems are generally vertical and rigid, with pointed wedge terminals and faceted joins that create a chiseled, calligraphic texture. Counters are relatively small and enclosed, while diagonals and curves resolve into crisp, segmented forms rather than smooth bowls. Uppercase letters are tall and formal with restrained ornament, and lowercase maintains a consistent vertical rhythm with narrow, upright forms and a clearly differentiated set of numerals.

Best suited to short headlines, titling, and identity work where a historic voice is desired—such as posters, event branding, labels, and packaging. It can also work for certificates or signage where formality and tradition are central, provided sizes are generous to preserve internal detail.

The overall tone is historic and ceremonial, evoking manuscript lettering, heraldic inscriptions, and old-world authority. Its dense, spiky texture reads as traditional and dramatic, lending a solemn, ritual, or ecclesiastical feel when used at display sizes.

The design appears intended to translate traditional blackletter calligraphy into a consistent, print-ready style with strong vertical rhythm and crisp, angular detailing. Its controlled ornament and compact structure suggest a focus on legibility at display sizes while preserving a distinctly medieval, authoritative texture.

The font produces a strong vertical cadence and a dark typographic color, especially in continuous text. Distinctive broken curves in letters like C, O, and S, along with pointed entry/exit strokes, reinforce the crafted, pen-and-nib character and give headings a formal, emblematic presence.
