This is a slanted serif with sharp, tapered terminals and pronounced thick–thin modulation throughout. Serifs are fine and bracketed, with a smooth, pen-like transition into stems and a generally crisp, clean finish. Uppercase forms are narrow and upright in structure despite the overall slant, while lowercase shows more cursive influence with flowing joins and occasional looped or hooked details. Counters are open and oval, strokes narrow to hairlines at exit points, and spacing feels even with a gentle, rhythmic forward momentum. Numerals follow the same italic, calligraphic logic, with slender stems and delicate curves.

Well suited to editorial settings where an elegant italic voice is needed—book typography, magazines, long-form quotations, introductions, and captions that benefit from refinement. It can also perform effectively in formal invitations and high-end branding accents where a graceful, classical tone is desired.

The overall tone is formal and cultured, with a distinctly literary, old-world elegance. Its lively italic movement and high-contrast sparkle suggest sophistication and nuance rather than sturdiness or neutrality, making it feel suited to expressive, polished typography.

The design appears intended to provide a polished, traditional italic companion for text, emphasizing graceful rhythm, contrast-driven sparkle, and a calligraphic sensibility while remaining firmly within conventional serif forms.

The design relies on fine hairlines and pointed terminals that create a bright page color and a shimmering texture in continuous text. The italic angle is consistent, and the curvature of bowls and diagonals gives the face a fluid, hand-influenced character without becoming decorative or script-like.
