A high-contrast serif with sharp, wedge-like finishing and subtly flared stroke endings that give stems a gently sculpted feel. Serifs are bracketed and tapered rather than blocky, with crisp joins and pronounced thick–thin modulation through bowls and diagonals. Uppercase forms feel stately and slightly wide in their internal spacing, while the lowercase keeps a conventional x-height with lively curves, a two-storey “g,” and a compact, sturdy “a.” Numerals follow the same contrast and tapering, with elegant curves and pointed terminals that stay clean at display sizes.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazine headlines, pull quotes, and book-cover titling where contrast and sharp finishing can shine. It can also support premium branding and packaging when set with generous spacing. In longer text, it will work best at comfortable sizes where its fine strokes and pointed terminals remain clear.

The overall tone is traditional and authoritative, with a polished, bookish presence. Its sharp terminals and formal contrast suggest a cultured, editorial sensibility—confident and refined rather than casual or utilitarian.

Likely intended as a contemporary take on a classic serif voice: using strong contrast and flared, tapered finishing to deliver elegance and authority without feeling overly ornate. The consistent wedge terminals and disciplined proportions aim to provide a versatile, upscale texture for display and editorial settings.

The design’s rhythm comes from consistent contrast and the repeated use of tapered, wedge terminals across serifs and stroke ends, producing a slightly calligraphic sparkle. Counters remain open and well-shaped in the sample text, helping dense paragraphs keep structure while still reading as distinctly display-leaning.
