This typeface uses chunky, mostly monoline strokes with visibly ragged contours and frequent notches, creating a worn, inked-in look. The letterforms read as a rough serif with blunt, wedge-like terminals and occasional spur-like protrusions rather than clean, constructed serifs. Curves are slightly flattened and irregular, counters are open and sometimes lopsided, and rounded glyphs (like O and Q) show broken, mottled edges that resemble distressed printing. Spacing is moderately open, with a steady baseline and generally consistent cap height, while individual glyphs vary subtly in silhouette as if stamped or brushed.

It suits display settings where texture and attitude are desirable—posters, album and book covers, event graphics, packaging, and branding that leans handmade or retro-industrial. It can work for short paragraphs when a deliberately rough, printed aesthetic is the goal, but the distressed edges will be most impactful in larger sizes.

The overall tone feels raw and analog, like a photocopied flyer, a stamped label, or a weathered poster. The distressed texture adds energy and edge, lending a rebellious, underground character with a hint of vintage ephemera.

The design appears intended to mimic imperfect physical reproduction—ink spread, worn type, or rough stamping—while keeping letterforms sturdy and legible. It balances a recognizable serif-like structure with deliberate degradation to deliver character without losing readability.

In the sample text the texture remains prominent at paragraph sizes, so the distressed detailing becomes part of the rhythm and color of the line. Numerals share the same battered outlines and blunt terminals, supporting cohesive display use.
