This typeface features sculpted, high-contrast strokes with crisp terminals and small bracketed serifs that give the forms a finely finished, print-oriented feel. Curves are smoothly drawn with pronounced thick–thin transitions, while verticals stay steady and dark, creating a clear rhythm across text. Proportions lean slightly condensed in many capitals, with generous counters and controlled apertures that keep the page color even. Lowercase shapes are compact and traditional, with a two-storey “a” and “g,” a compact ear on the “g,” and a sturdy “t” with a short crossbar.

It performs especially well in editorial environments such as book typography, magazine layouts, and long-form reading where its contrast and traditional construction feel at home. It also suits headlines, pull quotes, and premium branding applications that benefit from a refined, authoritative texture.

The overall tone reads as polished and editorial, with a classic, bookish confidence. Its sharp detailing and elegant contrast suggest a voice suited to serious, established brands rather than casual or playful messaging.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, print-centric reading experience with an elegant thick–thin dynamic and precise finishing. It aims for a composed, professional presence that bridges comfortable text setting with confident display use.

Round letters like O/Q show careful optical correction and a refined stress, and the Q uses a short, angled tail for distinction. Numerals follow the same contrast logic, with clear silhouettes and a traditional feel that fits alongside the text. At larger sizes, the fine strokes and crisp serifs become prominent, emphasizing its engraved, publication-ready character.
