A high-contrast italic serif with sharply modulated strokes and pronounced thick–thin transitions. Serifs are bracketed and crisp, with tapered entry strokes and elegantly pointed terminals that reinforce the slanted, calligraphic construction. Uppercase forms are narrow-to-moderate in proportion with generous sidebearings, while the lowercase shows a smooth, continuous rhythm and a gently rounded, oldstyle-like skeleton. Figures appear lining and italicized, echoing the same strong contrast and sweeping curves as the letters.

This face works well for editorial typography—book interiors, magazine features, and literary layouts—where an italic with strong character is desirable. It is also a strong choice for refined headlines, pull quotes, captions, and formal printed pieces such as invitations or programs, where its contrast and flourish can be appreciated.

The overall tone is polished and literary, projecting a sense of tradition, sophistication, and careful craftsmanship. Its slant and stroke modulation add a lively, expressive cadence that feels suited to cultured, formal communication rather than utilitarian UI text.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, bookish italic voice with elevated contrast and a distinctly calligraphic flow, offering emphasis and elegance in text while retaining conventional serif readability cues.

The italic angle is consistent across capitals, lowercase, and numerals, and the design maintains a cohesive texture in continuous text. Delicate hairlines and fine joints suggest it will benefit from comfortable sizes and adequate leading, especially in dense settings.
