This is a high-contrast italic serif with a smooth, calligraphic axis and sharply tapered hairlines. Serifs are fine and bracketed, with pointed entry strokes and occasional teardrop-like terminals that give the forms a lively, pen-driven finish. Uppercase letters are narrow and upright in proportion despite the italic slant, while the lowercase shows fluid joins, curved shoulders, and distinctive italic constructions (notably in a, f, g, and y) that emphasize forward motion. The overall rhythm is even and text-oriented, with crisp counters and a polished, traditional texture at paragraph sizes.

Well-suited to editorial and long-form text where an italic is needed for emphasis, captions, or quotes, and it can also serve as a refined voice for formal invitations or heritage-leaning brand communications. It reads best at text and subhead sizes where the contrast and sharp detailing remain clear without overwhelming the page.

The font conveys a classic, literary tone—refined and slightly dramatic—associated with formal print typography. Its energetic italic movement adds elegance and emphasis without becoming ornamental, making it feel authoritative and cultured.

The design appears intended as a conventional text italic with a traditional serif vocabulary, balancing readability with the expressive cues of calligraphy. It aims to provide a polished, dependable italic style for literature and editorial settings while retaining enough character for prominent emphasis.

Numerals follow the same contrasty, italic treatment, with rounded figures (such as 3, 6, 8, 9) showing pronounced thick–thin modulation and delicate terminals. The italic angle is consistent across cases, and the spacing appears designed for continuous reading rather than display-only wordmarks.
