A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation, sharp hairlines, and sturdy vertical stems. Serifs are bracketed with a slightly flared, wedge-like finish, giving terminals a carved, beaked character rather than a flat slab. The capitals are broad and stately with generous curves and crisp joins; rounded letters (C, G, O, Q) show clear stress and tight hairline connections. Lowercase forms are compact and robust, with a two-storey a and g, a pointed, calligraphic ear on g, and a strong, slightly rightward-leaning entry/exit rhythm that keeps texture lively. Numerals follow the same contrast and serif treatment, with ball-like terminals appearing on some figures (notably the 3) and a stable, traditional stance overall.

Well-suited to headlines, magazine typography, and book-cover titling where contrast and serif detailing can be appreciated. It can also support premium branding and packaging that wants a classic, authoritative feel. For dense body copy, it will perform best when sized and spaced to preserve its fine hairlines and sharp details.

The overall tone is refined and traditional, with an unmistakably editorial voice. Its sharp contrast and sculpted serifs add drama and authority, reading as confident and formal rather than casual. The texture feels bookish and established, suited to premium, heritage-leaning typography.

The font appears designed to deliver a classic serif reading experience with elevated contrast and crisp finishing, balancing tradition with a touch of theatrical sharpness. Its letterforms emphasize elegance and authority, aiming for strong presence in editorial and display settings.

In the text sample, the heavy strokes create a dark, commanding color while hairlines remain delicate, producing a crisp sparkle at larger sizes. The design’s wedge and beak details are especially noticeable on letters like S, J, and G, contributing a slightly flamboyant, display-leaning edge within a conventional serif framework.
