A high-contrast serif with crisp, bracketed serifs and pronounced thick–thin modulation that reads as strongly vertical in stress. Capitals are stately and slightly condensed in feel, with sharp apexes on forms like A, V, and W and clean, tapered joins. The lowercase shows a relatively tall x-height for the style, with open, rounded counters and compact, refined finishing strokes; the a is two-storey and the g is single-storey with a generous ear and sweeping lower curve. Numerals follow the same contrasty logic, with elegant shaping and sharp wedge-like terminals on several figures.

Well suited to book and long-form editorial typography where a classic serif voice is desired, and it can also serve confidently in magazine layouts and formal communications. The crisp contrast and sculpted capitals make it particularly effective for display headlines, pull quotes, and refined brand wordmarks when set with comfortable spacing.

The overall tone is polished and literary, evoking classic book typography and refined editorial design. Its sharp serifs and bright contrast give it a confident, formal presence suited to sophisticated, traditional messaging.

The design appears intended as a contemporary take on conventional text serifs, balancing a traditional high-contrast structure with clean, disciplined detailing and a relatively tall lowercase for readability. It aims to deliver an authoritative, cultured tone while retaining enough crispness for prominent editorial use.

Rhythm is steady and composed, with consistent serif treatment and smooth curve transitions that keep larger sizes looking crisp. At text sizes the strong contrast and fine hairlines suggest it will reward good printing or screen rendering where delicate strokes can remain clear.
