A tightly condensed serif with tall proportions, pronounced vertical stress, and sharp thick–thin modulation. Stems are heavy and straight, while the hairlines and joins taper quickly into pointed, slightly flared serif shapes that feel more carved than calligraphic. Counters are narrow and upright, with crisp interior angles and occasional triangular notches; curves (notably in C, G, S, and the bowls) stay compact and taut. The lowercase keeps a straightforward, readable structure with a modest x-height, but distinctive terminals and narrow apertures give it a stylized, display-forward rhythm. Numerals follow the same compressed, high-contrast logic, reading clearly while maintaining the font’s spiky, ornamental finish.

Best suited to headlines, posters, cover titling, and mastheads where its condensed width and dramatic contrast can maximize impact in limited space. It also fits packaging and branding that want a vintage or theatrical voice, especially for short phrases and names rather than continuous reading.

The overall tone is dramatic and old-world, suggesting playbills, Victorian-era advertising, or classic newspaper-era display titling. Its sharp serifs and condensed stance add urgency and spectacle, while the quirky, tapered terminals bring a slightly eccentric, handcrafted flavor rather than a purely formal book face.

The design appears intended as an attention-grabbing display serif: compact, tall, and highly contrasted, with ornamental, flared serif endings that evoke historical wood-type and show-card lettering while remaining structured enough for modern composition.

Spacing appears compact, and the narrow internal whitespace can make dense text blocks feel dark; it performs best when given room to breathe through generous tracking or larger sizes. The pointed serifs and hairline details create a lively texture that can shimmer in long lines, reinforcing its role as a statement face.
