A refined serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a calligraphic construction that shows in the tapered terminals and subtly flared stroke endings. Serifs are sharp and bracketed, with triangular energy at corners and apexes (notably in A, V, W, and Y), while round letters keep generous, open counters and smooth oval stress. Uppercase proportions feel stately and slightly wide, with elegant curves in C, G, and S and a distinctive Q featuring a graceful tail. The lowercase balances a moderate x-height with tall, clean ascenders and compact bowls, producing an even text color despite the strong contrast; numerals follow the same refined logic with delicate joins and clear differentiation.

Well-suited to editorial typography where elegance and hierarchy matter, including book interiors, magazine features, and long-form reading at comfortable sizes. It also works effectively for refined titling—chapter heads, pull quotes, and cultured branding—where the crisp serifs and contrast can provide a premium, traditional voice.

The overall tone is polished and bookish, suggesting tradition and quiet luxury rather than display exuberance. Its crisp contrast and finely tapered details lend a sense of ceremony and authority, while the rounded forms keep it readable and composed in continuous text.

The font appears designed to deliver a classic serif reading experience with added sophistication from tapered, flared endings and a distinctly calligraphic stroke logic. It aims to bridge formal, traditional typography with a slightly more expressive, high-finish texture for contemporary editorial use.

The design maintains consistent contrast and taper behavior across capitals, lowercase, and figures, giving long passages a steady rhythm. Curved letters show careful modulation through the turns, and the terminals frequently resolve into pointed or softly flared finishes that add sparkle at larger sizes.
