A heavy display face built from solid forms interrupted by sharp, triangular cut-ins and crescent-like voids. The letterforms keep an upright stance and generally monolinear weight, while internal notches create a consistent “carved” rhythm across rounds and straights. Counters are often partially opened or segmented, and many joins terminate in beveled, wedge-shaped ends that emphasize a faceted silhouette. Spacing appears fairly compact in text, with distinctive inner gaps that maintain legibility at larger sizes.

Best suited for display typography where the internal cutouts and shadow-like breaks can read clearly—posters, headlines, album/film titles, branding accents, and packaging. It can work for short bursts of text or pull quotes at larger sizes, but the interior voids and compact rhythm may become busy in small body copy.

The cutout rhythm and chiseled geometry give the font a dramatic, slightly clandestine tone—part noir title card, part industrial stencil, with a playful edge. The repeated internal voids read like spotlight slashes or shadow breaks, adding energy and a sense of motion even in static lines.

The design appears intended to turn a conventional bold skeleton into a more theatrical, high-contrast texture through systematic internal carving and offset-looking breaks. The goal is a memorable, high-impact display voice that suggests depth and shadow without relying on outlines or fine strokes.

Round letters (like O, C, G, Q) rely on large curved masses punctuated by consistent bite marks, while diagonals (V, W, X, Y, Z) amplify the faceted feel. Numerals echo the same strategy, using bold silhouettes with strategic cut-ins to keep a unified texture across the set.
