A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, bracketed serifs. The letterforms show a lively, calligraphic construction with tapered joins, slightly asymmetric curves, and a forward-leaning rhythm that keeps counters open despite the contrast. Proportions read on the generous side, with a comfortable set width and steady spacing that supports continuous text. Numerals share the same italicized stress and contrast, with clear differentiation and classic shaping.

Well suited to editorial typography such as book interiors, magazine features, essays, and extended quotations where an italic voice is needed. It can also serve as a refined display italic for titles, pull quotes, and front matter when paired with a roman companion.

The overall tone is cultivated and bookish, balancing elegance with a bit of motion from the italic stance. It feels traditional and authoritative rather than decorative, with a polished, editorial character suited to serious content.

The design appears intended as a conventional text-serif italic with a classic, calligraphy-informed skeleton—aiming for readability in paragraphs while providing a distinct, elegant emphasis style. Its generous proportions and energetic slant suggest a focus on sustained reading and editorial tone rather than tight, compact setting.

Uppercase forms look stately and well-structured, while the lowercase introduces more fluidity through curved entry/exit strokes and tapered terminals. The contrast and fine details suggest it will look best when given adequate size or print-quality rendering so the thinner strokes don’t visually break up.
