A calligraphic serif with gently flared, bracketed strokes and softened curves that keep the letterforms friendly rather than sharp. Capitals have pronounced entry/exit swashes and tapered joins, while lowercase forms stay compact with a noticeably small x-height and tall ascenders/descenders. Terminals often end in subtle hooks or teardrop-like finishes, giving a hand-formed feel without connecting strokes. Spacing and widths vary by character, producing an organic rhythm; numerals follow the same rounded, slightly embellished logic for a consistent page color.

Best suited to display settings such as book covers, chapter titles, posters, invitations, and heritage-leaning branding where the swashy capitals can be featured. It can also work for short editorial passages or pull quotes when a classic, storybook texture is desired, ideally with comfortable size and line spacing.

The tone feels old-world and literary—evoking printed storybooks, traditional signage, and decorative editorial typography. Its modest flourishes add personality and warmth while maintaining a composed, formal presence.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif construction with a hand-drawn calligraphic finish, creating a readable but characterful face for literary and decorative applications. The small x-height and embellished terminals suggest an emphasis on historic charm and expressive capitals over strictly utilitarian text neutrality.

The silhouette leans on curved shoulders and soft interior counters, and the capitals contribute much of the display character through their sweeping tops and diagonals. At larger sizes the terminal shaping and gentle modulation become the main texture; at smaller sizes the compact lowercase may read more like a textured, historic text face than a crisp contemporary serif.
