A compact blackletter with tall, narrow proportions and a tightly packed rhythm. Strokes are predominantly straight and vertical, with faceted, angular joins and small wedge-like terminals that create a chiseled, cut-from-metal feel. Curves are minimized and often resolved into broken, polygonal segments, while counters remain small and enclosed, giving the overall texture a dense, dark color. Capitals are assertive and upright with crisp spurs and notches, and the lowercase maintains a consistent vertical grid-like cadence; figures follow the same narrow, gothic construction with pointed corners and minimal roundness.

Best suited to display roles where the blackletter texture can be appreciated—titles, mastheads, logos, labels, and dramatic poster typography. It also works well for historical, fantasy, or heritage branding accents, especially when set with generous tracking and ample line spacing to keep the dense rhythm from closing in.

The font conveys a medieval, ceremonial tone—stern, traditional, and authoritative. Its sharp, architectural forms suggest manuscripts, guild marks, and heraldic signage, lending text a sense of gravity and historical distance rather than casual friendliness.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic gothic manuscript voice with a streamlined, consistent construction: strong verticals, restrained ornament, and crisp, faceted terminals. The goal seems to be an authoritative blackletter that reads cleanly in short bursts while preserving an unmistakably medieval character.

In continuous setting the letterforms interlock into a strong vertical pattern, producing a pronounced “textura” texture that can feel heavy at smaller sizes. Distinctive angular shaping on diagonals and bowls helps keep characters recognizable despite the compact width and tight internal spaces.
