A heavy slab-serif design with compact proportions and sturdy verticals, rendered with visibly roughened contours that mimic worn metal type or over-inked letterpress. Strokes maintain a generally consistent weight, while edges show irregular nicks, soft bumps, and occasional blot-like thickening that create a textured silhouette. Serifs are blunt and squared with slight rounding from the distressing, and the overall rhythm is slightly uneven in a deliberate, print-worn way. Numerals and lowercase forms keep the same robust structure, with the distress effect applied consistently across the set.

Best suited to display applications such as posters, badges, labels, and brand marks where a worn, tactile print feel is desired. It also works well for short pull quotes, signage, and themed editorial headers where the distress can be read clearly and contribute to the atmosphere.

The font conveys a vintage, hard-working tone—evoking old typewritten notices, saloon posters, or weathered packaging. Its distressed texture adds grit and tactility, suggesting age, authenticity, and analog printing rather than polished modern refinement.

The design appears intended to simulate rugged, imperfect printing—combining a classic slab-serif skeleton with purposeful edge wear to produce a believable aged, stamped, or letterpress-like impression.

The distressed treatment is strong enough to be a defining feature, especially at larger sizes where the chipped edges and uneven ink traps become part of the visual identity. In longer text, the texture reads as a continuous grain, so spacing and line breaks benefit from a bit of breathing room to keep the page from feeling overly dense.
