A delicate serif with strong stroke modulation and crisp, well-defined serifs that feel subtly flared at the joins and terminals. Curves are smoothly drawn with a controlled, calligraphic stress, while verticals remain clean and steady. Proportions are classical and slightly narrow-feeling in the capitals, with generous sidebearings that create an airy texture in text. Lowercase forms show a traditional construction with a two-storey “a,” a looped “g,” and a compact “e,” producing a measured, bookish rhythm. Numerals are lining and similarly refined, with thin hairlines and prominent contrast that rewards larger sizes.

Well suited to book typography, long-form editorial layouts, and magazine settings where a refined serif texture is desired. It also works effectively for headlines, pull quotes, and titling in cultural or luxury contexts, as well as formal print pieces such as invitations and programs when set at moderate-to-large sizes.

The overall tone is polished and cultured, suggesting literary seriousness and a quiet formality. Its sharp serifs and high-contrast modeling convey sophistication, making it feel at home in established editorial and institutional settings rather than casual or utilitarian interfaces.

The letterforms appear designed to balance traditional serif conventions with a slightly sharpened, contemporary finish. Emphasis is placed on elegant contrast, clear classical proportions, and a composed reading rhythm, aiming for an upscale, editorial voice.

The design reads best when allowed space: the thin connecting strokes and fine serifs benefit from comfortable tracking and adequate size. The capitals have a stately presence, while the lowercase maintains a calm cadence suited to continuous reading, with clear differentiation between similarly shaped forms.
