A slanted, calligraphic serif design with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a clear broad-nib stress. Strokes end in tapered, often curved terminals and small bracketed serifs, with occasional swash-like entry and exit strokes that give letters a gently flowing rhythm without connecting. Uppercase forms are expressive and slightly embellished, while the lowercase is compact with relatively small counters and a restrained, inked-in texture in text. Figures follow the same angled, high-contrast construction, with curved tops and pointed, calligraphy-like finishes.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, book or album titles, invitations, and branding accents where its calligraphic contrast and flourished terminals can be appreciated. It can work for short passages or pull quotes when set with ample spacing, but it is most effective for featured typography rather than dense body copy.

The overall tone feels formal and literary, evoking traditional penmanship and old-world print elegance. Its flourished shapes read as romantic and ceremonial rather than utilitarian, lending a sense of craft and personality to headings and featured lines.

The design appears intended to translate formal pen calligraphy into a consistent typographic system: expressive capitals, a lively italic rhythm, and refined contrast that suggest hand-rendered writing while maintaining repeatable letterforms for composition.

Stroke contrast and terminal detailing become more prominent at larger sizes, where the subtle curls and hooks in capitals and ascenders are most legible. In continuous text the compact lowercase and narrow internal spaces create a darker, more ornamental color that rewards generous tracking and leading.
